MORE than 20 stores and several lanes were flooded and traffic was blocked for two hours on Hongkou District's Guangyue Road after a water pipe burst yesterday morning.
Shanghai Waterworks Shibei Co said the old pipe couldn't withstand the increased traffic on Guangyue Road.
