Hunt for suspects in fatal stabbing

POLICE are seeking three to four suspects for their alleged involvement in stabbing a man to death during a fight over a debt, officers in Baoshan District said yesterday.
The body of a 30-year-old man from Shanghai's Chongming County was found on Gongjiang Road near Hulin Road in Baoshan at about 10pm on Monday, witnesses said. The man was found on the side of the road near a parked car. There were blood stains near his abdomen and on the ground.
A woman who said she was the victim's wife was sitting on the ground near the body, slapping her face.
Witnesses said she kept repeating that her husband was dead because of her. It was unclear if she was with her husband when he was stabbed. She was taken in for questioning, police said.
Witnesses said the man was stabbed after a fight had broken out over a debt.
