'I Wish' documentary

EXPO visitors can watch a free documentary that tells the story of Shanghai over the past 100 years.

The film "I Wish I Knew" will be shown daily at Expo Culture Center for the next three months. The documentary features interviews with 18 people who have witnessed the city's ups and downs over the years. It's directed by Jia Zhangke, who won the Venice Film Festival's top award in 2006 for "Still Life."
