Illegal cabs seized

THE local taxi watchdog said yesterday it seized more than 500 cloned cabs last year, with 2,900-plus illegal operators detained. Authorities said crackdowns will be intensified, with an increasing focus into the dens that remodel the cabs. Traffic administration said it will also focus on the illegal school bus operation.
