"CLOUD Atlas," a co-production film, is scheduled to be released on December 6 this year, officials said during the ongoing Shanghai International Film Festival yesterday.
German director Tom Tykwer, best known for "Run Lola Run" and Lana and Andy Wachowski co-directed the film. It stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Susan Sarandon as well as Chinese actress Zhou Xun. The historical/science fiction film is adapted from David Mitchell's novel.
