Institute for AI established
Online Edition
TONGJI University established an institute for artificial intelligence on Sunday.
It will integrate resources from over 10 schools in the university to carry out interdisciplinary researches and undertake national key programs of scientific and technological innovation, as well as cultivate talents in the AI field, one of the most popular areas in the world now.
The new institute will focus on various researches, including smart city, intelligent manufacturing, smart healthcare, smart military and smart agriculture.
A forum was also held on Sunday with top scientists sharing views about future development of AI.
