Invoice scam
SHANGHAI police yesterday caught 52 suspects for allegedly selling fake invoices, especially those for air travel e-tickets.
About 100,000 fake flight itinerary invoices were confiscated in the crackdown across Pudong, Huangpu, Xuhui, Changning and Zhabei districts yesterday. Shanghai police said the fake flight invoices could be used to scam passengers or evade taxes.
