KTV uses sex to threaten foreigners

XUHUI District police have charged workers at an underground KTV parlor with providing prostitutes to foreigners and then forcing them to pay outrageous charges for cheap food and drink.

Owners, interpreters and other staff working at the KTV have been charged, today's Oriental Morning Post reported.

Staff lured foreigners to the parlor and provided sex services, which is illegal.

They then used physical threats to force customers to pay up to 600 yuan (US$88) for a cocktail, police said.
