Killer hunted after stabbing man to death

POLICE are searching for the killer who stabbed a man to death and injured a woman last night in a small inn in the city's Yangpu District.
Police received a report at about 8pm yesterday that a man and a woman were stabbed in the inn on Zhengli Road.
The area was immediately cordoned off and an ambulance rushed the man to a nearby hospital where he died of injuries.
The 52-year old victim, surnamed Xu, was later identified by a friend. The woman suffered only minor cuts in her right arm.
Police are interviewing the inn's staff and looking for other clues to the murder.
