The Shanghai education commission is investigating claims that children were maltreated by teachers at a kindergarten.
The Xingchen kindergarten in Minhang District, allegedly reported to the commission that seven parents of children from the same class complained that three teachers gave their children 鈥減hysical punishment.鈥 Five parents also filed a report with police. The commission said it will punish the responsible officials and teachers if the claims are verified.
