Knife-holding drug addict seized on campus

A female drug addict who entered a school in Xuhui District with a knife in her hands yesterday was caught before hurting anyone, Shanghai police said today.
The woman surnamed Bian, 49, was spotted by security guards holding a 30cm-long knife behind her back as she entered a middle school on Tianping Road around 7:30am yesterday.
The guards seized the knife from her and brought her to a police station where officers found 2 grams of methamphetamine or "ice" on her. A urine test proved she was a drug addict.
Police said Bian was having an illusion under the influence of the drug and was behaving abnormal at that time.
