Lee to attend ceremony

SOUTH Korean President Lee Myung-bak will visit China on Friday and Saturday to attend the opening ceremony of World Expo in Shanghai, Cheong Wa Dae, Office of the President, said yesterday.
Lee is scheduled to attend a welcoming banquet to be hosted by President Hu Jintao and the Expo's opening ceremony. He will also take part in the inauguration of the South Korea Pavilion and visit South Korea's Enterprises Joint Pavilion and China Pavilion, according to Cheong Wa Dae.
Lee will also exchange views with Hu on developing cooperation between the two countries, it said.
