SHANGHAI'S participation in an astronomical Webcast was put off for seven hours on Saturday, the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory said over the weekend.
The observatory was scheduled to join a global relay of 80 observatories at 9:40am, but the 20-minute Webcast didn't go online until 4:30pm. Reasons for the delay are as yet unknown.
