Lucky teens
TEENAGERS from around China will have a chance to win tickets to World Expo 2010 Shanghai and join volunteer teams by competing in essay competitions.
Amway China announced at a charity function yesterday a donation of 1 million yuan (US$146,198.83) to provide financial support for 100 teenagers to attend the World Expo, despite their poor family backgrounds.
The 100 lucky teenagers will be selected via essay competitions and quiz contests held in 10 provinces during the 2010 summer holidays.
The winners will not only be able to visit the Expo site but also have the opportunity to work as volunteers.
