Hundreds of young couples want to get married on the date 10-10-10, which means "perfect" in Chinese, today's Shanghai Morning Post reported.
The offices will also open online reservations for that day to ensure all couples who apply can get married on their chosen date, Zhou Jixiang, marriage registration unit director with Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, told the newspaper.
