FANS of Manchester United can cheer on their team in Shanghai in China's first theme bar and restaurant authorized by the soccer club when it opens in August.
The Manchester United (Shanghai) Bar & Restaurant is located in a historic warehouse along Suzhou Creek, where a cluster of warehouses and banks dating from the 1920s will be renovated, according to the local operator, Canhai Tech Co Ltd, today.
Stanford Zheng, director of the company, said the club was still under construction but will welcome its first batch of fans this June to watch the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
