Man detained for sexually harassing woman on Line 7, polluting her skirt

A man has been punished with a 10-day police detention for sexual harassment of a female passenger on a Metro train Wednesday morning, city police announced today.
The victim reported that she was sexually harassed by the man, surnamed Huang, near Jing'an Temple Station on Line 7 and called for help on the scene. Others helped her catch the suspect and her skirt was found with some liquid believed to be left by the man, according to the police.
Police detained Huang after being alerted and launched an investigation. Police said they studied security footage on the train and tested the evidence collected from the woman's skirt, which both confirmed that the man had sexually harassed the woman.
The man was detained for indecency and punished according to laws.
