Man detained over false cases

A MAN was detained by Nanhui District police yesterday for reporting more than 100 false cases by dialing 110.
The suspect surnamed Ge, a waterway cleaner, was placed in detention for 20 days for disrupting public order. Ge confessed to police that he had a minor dispute with a couple from Anhui Province at the beginning of this year. Ge told police he wanted to inconvenience the couple as revenge, thus he reported false prostitution cases where the couple lived on Wenkang Road in Nanhui area.
