AN American-born Chinese man died after jumping from his 18th-floor apartment on Zhabei District's Shanxi Road N. about 7:30pm on Wednesday, district police said yesterday.
A neighbor said the man in his 40s had lived in the apartment for several years and had lost a huge sum of money in a business transaction. Police said the man committed suicide.
