Man falls in river

A TOURIST fell into the Huangpu River while enjoying the scene and sitting on the rails along the Bund, Shanghai police said yesterday. The 22-year-old man surnamed Liu, from Hebei Province, was rescued by a police boat after he lost his strength in the river and hung onto the pipes of the flood prevention wall. Liu was reported to be in stable condition yesterday.
