Man found dead in Hongkou garden

A middle-aged man was found dead this morning in a flower garden in Shanghai's Hongkou District, police said.
The Hongkou District police confirmed the case and have ruled out the possibility of homicide, but said the cause of the man's death was still under investigation.
The man, about 40 years old, was found unconscious in the small garden in front of 1112 Liyang Road at around 7am, witnesses said.
Witnesses soon called the ambulance and the man, who had not been identified, was later confirmed dead.
The man, dressed in a dark down jacket, looked decent and was not like a homeless person and no obvious injury was seen on his body, said a witness surnamed Gu.
The scene was later cordoned off by the police for investigation.
