Man hacked to death outside Shanghai hospital
A man was hacked to death over a suspected love affair in front of a hospital in Huangpu District early this morning, Shanghai police said.
Four armed men were seen chasing and hacking the victim until he collapsed in the parking lot of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital just after midnight, Shanghai Evening Post reported.
By the time police arrived at the scene, the wounded 36-year-old man was bleeding profusely and could not identify his attackers, a witness told the newspaper.
He died in the hospital after emergency treatment, the report said.
A 30-year-old woman, a Shanghai native, and four men reportedly killed the man. Several suspects have been caught and police are continuing their investigation.
