Man held for stabbing taxi driver over fare dispute

A MAN has been detained for stabbing an unlicensed taxi driver at Shanghai South Station yesterday, Labor Daily reported.
The man, who was armed with a knife, was overpowered by armed police at 10am, as the driver lay bleeding. He reportedly said he stabbed the driver in anger after being overcharged for a trip.
Police are investigating the case.
