Man jumps into Huangpu River from Bund promenade after wandering on bank for long time

A middle-aged man was saved after plunging into the Huangpu River from the bund promenade this noon.
The man was still breathing when he's pulled up and was rushed to hospital, witnesses reportedly said.
The man, looking to be in his 40s, was seen walking back and forth near the river for a long time before he dived.
It's unclear whether he jumped.
