Man stabs his wife and jumps from building

A MAN stabbed his wife and then jumped to his death from a building in the Pudong New Area, police said yesterday.
The injured woman, in her 50s, was taken to hospital by neighbors and was in a stable condition last night.
The unnamed man jumped from the fourth floor of an apartment building in Dele Garden on Boshan Road at about 7am yesterday, witnesses said.
Residents said the man's wife was first seen running to the security office, covered in blood. Seconds later there was the sound of something crashing to the ground.
Witnesses said the man appeared to still be alive as his body was twitching, but he was pronounced dead after he was taken to hospital.
