Man strips naked while being questioned by police

A scooter rider removed his clothes while being questioned by police about driving in the wrong lane in front of Metro Line 3’s Jiangwan Town Station yesterday.

Traffic police stopped the man in front of the station when he was driving in the wrong lane at 8:20am.

Police told the man to get into the police car for further questioning. He started removing his clothes while sitting in the car. Once naked, he got out of the car and walked around the street in a form of protest. Officers quickly covered the man up and escorted him to a police station.

Police said the man has a record of obstructing justice and he would receive administrative punishment for disrupting public order. Police did not give details about his punishment.
