Many items at the lost-found center
VISITORS who lose things at the World Expo can report to the Lost and Found Center to see if their items have been handed in.
Many visitors have picked up lost cameras, mobile phones and wallets and taken them to the Lost and Found Center, but few owners are claiming their belongings.
The Visitors Service Center for zones A and B has received more than 800 lost items - including cameras, phones, certificates and keys - since the Expo opened in May. Only 30 people went to claim their possessions, said Wang Yi, director assistant of the center.
Other lost items include clothes, cups, umbrellas and glasses.
The center has to send the items to the main Lost and Found Center at the No. 19 parking lot in Houtan every three days due to lack of space, Wang said.
People can dial 962010 to inquire about lost items.
