Maritime court releases 5-year plan

SHANGHAI Maritime Court released its five-year (2017-2021) development plan today as to provide better support to the city’s progress to become a world’s leading international shipping center by 2020.
Under the plan, the court will step up efforts to improve the effectiveness of dealing with cases involving overseas parties.
It will achieve simultaneous translations for six languages-Chinese, English, Arabic, Russian, French and Spanish-at court. Also, it will try to develop a new bilingual app, hoping to cover major shipping destinations around the world, according to the plan.
