Media groups sign on as Expo 2010 partners

THREE leading media groups in Shanghai this morning signed contracts to be official media partners of World Expo 2010 Shanghai.
Wenhui-Xinmin United Press Group, publisher of Shanghai Daily, Jiefang Daily Group and Shanghai Media Group signed contracts with the Expo 2010 authority at 10:30am in Shanghai.
Wang Zhongwei, standing member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and head of the the Publicity Department of CPC Shanghai, attended the signing ceremony chaired by Zhu Yonglei, deputy director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
Wenhui-Xinmin would attract more overseas attention to Expo 2010, Miao Guoqin, Party secretary of Wenhui-Xinmin United Press Group, said at the ceremony.
