Meeting to set cultural development targets

SHANGHAI Muncipal Government will hold a meeting next Tuesday to discuss the development of public cultural facilities and services.
During the meeting, participants will review work done in the past five years and set targests for development in the 12th Five-Year Plan period starting from this year.
On agenda for discussion are plans for the construction of Shanghai History Museum, Shanghai Modern Art Museum and the second phase of Shanghai Library.
There are also proposals for more and better digitalized cultural services such as digital library, digital museum, digital art gallery, and self-help book borrowing system to meet the needs of people in the digital age.
