Metro Line 2 section shuts down for 3 hours

Metro’s Line 2 shut down for three hours between Guanglan Road and Chuangxin Road M. stations in the Pudong New Area during today’s early rush hour as a result of failures at a signal facility.
The malfunction started around 6:30am and was not solved by 7:30am, when authorities started a shuttle bus service between Guanglan Road and Chuansha stations. Travelers heading to Pudong International Airport were advised to transfer to the Maglev train at the Longyang Road Station.
The operation of Line 2 was restored by 9:30am.
