Milk cartons found punctured

POLICE are investigating a case in which cartons of milk were punctured by needles at a local Carrefour outlet yesterday.
Netizens posted pictures of imported milk cartons that were punctured by needles in the Carrefour store on Changzhong Road in Baoshan District. Milk could be seen leaking from some of the cartons. Carrefour removed the milk cartons after the leaks were spotted. Most of the punctured milk cartons were made by Germany-based Deyatur while the others belonged to the Meadow Fresh brand that is produced in New Zealand. Carrefour employees removed the cartons after seeing milk leaking on the shelves.
