Milkman stabs family of 3 after boy disrupts sleep

A MILKMAN stabbed a four-year-old boy, his father and grandfather yesterday afternoon in Baoshan District after the playing child disrupted his sleep.

The three victims are out of danger and in a stable condition after medical treatment. Police have caught the milkman surnamed Chen, today's Oriental Morning Post reported.

The stabbing happened after the child was playing in the staircase, which Chen said interrupted his sleep, an unnamed neighbor told the newspaper.

Chen had a history of disputes with the boy's family over noise, the neighbor said.
Because he was a milkman, he worked early hours and slept all day.
