A man was sentenced to 17 years in prison for robbery, theft and molesting women, a local court said yesterday.
The convict, surnamed Hu, robbed residents in suburban areas of Pudong. Hu, who prosecutors said threatened women with a knife, was also fined 17,000 yuan (US$2,663).
