Multi-level discounts mulled for Shanghai Disney Resort

SHANGHAI Disney Resort will offer discounted tickets to different groups of visitors, the top official of the city’s tourism authority said today.
The ticket price is being made by the resort’s operator based on international conventions and its operations, as well as market evaluation, said Yang Jingsong, director of the Shanghai Tourism Bureau.
“We hope the operator can take the affordability of local visitors into consideration when setting the ticket price,” Yang said.
Shanghai Disney Resort later announced it was making market research and analysis together with industry experts and consumers on the ticket price of the resort.
“The ticket price will be announced at later,” the resort said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Shanghai International Tourism Resort where the Shanghai Disney stands as the centerpiece began publicizing its environmental evaluation results to the public.
The resort in Pudong New Area will have a core part, the Disney resort and five other sections for entertainment and commercial, enterprises headquarters, ecological tourism and future development.
