Never fear: toilets will be 24-hour

ALL public toilets run by Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau within 1,000 meters of the Expo zone will be open all day and night during the World Expo, officials said yesterday.
Public toilets near residential complexes will also be available around the clock for the convenience of local residents, travelers and Expo visitors.
Whenever toilets inside the Expo are crowded, the authorities will arrange portable ones.
Officials emphasized that public toilets will be cleaned regularly to ensure a comfortable environment.
In addition, the bureau promised to empty full dust bins inside the Expo zone within 20 minutes and to remove any garbage on roadways inside the Expo zone in 10 minutes or less.
