APARTMENT owners in Minhang District's Lotus Riverside community want the complex's name changed after one building toppled over last summer, killing one worker.
More than 30 Lotus Riverside apartment owners discussed their concerns with Vanke Co Ltd, which agreed to take over the complex after the June 27 accident, Xinmin.cn reported.
The developer said change is possible if more than 90 percent of owners agreed.
Apartment owners fear the name will scare off potential buyers in future.
