No casualties in Yangpu District warehouse fire

A fire, which broke out in a warehouse in Yangpu District, on Wednesday night was put out in 2 hours. There were no casualties and an investigation into the cause of fire was ordered.
Police said it received a call at 9:13pm on Wednesday. Fire broke out at No.8 Jinian Road. The warehouse stored grains, oil and construction material. It is surrounded by schools and residential communities.
Eastday.com reported that most of the rice stored in the warehouse were burnt. The website claimed the fire was caused by a power outage. The site also housed some combustible materials like oil and oil paints.
