Nutcracker Ice Kingdom fun available in town since Friday

THE Nutcracker Ice Kingdom management held a media tour today at the Shanghai World Expo Celebration Plaza. The ice wonderland based on the world-famous fairy tale will open to public on January 1 and run till March 6.

A couple of ice sculptures of the well-known characters in the tale are displayed in the park, which covers an area of 3,000 square meters.

Artificial snow falls every hour to create romantic and fantastic scenes. Visitors can also make snowman, play snowballs and take bumper car ride on the ice.
