Official guide hits bookstores

A FIRST batch of 1 million copies of the "Expo 2010 Shanghai China Official Guidebook," said to offer complete and authoritative information of the event, went on sale yesterday at Xinhua Bookstores, newspaper kiosks and some supermarkets.
The guidebook's English, Japanese, Korean and French versions will be available next Saturday, said an official with the publisher, Shanghai Century Publishing Co.
The guidebook offers introductions, with pictures, to all the pavilions and Urban Best Practices Area Exhibitions.
Made with full-color recycled paper, it costs 20 yuan (US$2.92).
