A MAN has been detained for illegally stocking oil for sale in Qingpu District, police said yesterday. Officers found 24 barrels of oil inside a pig shed.
The suspect, surnamed Ling, hid the oil there and tried to sell it at 6 yuan (88 US cents) per liter. The market price for oil is nearly 7 yuan a liter.
