POLICE are investigating a case in which white paint was poured over two schoolgirls in a possible debt collection attempt. On Wednesday morning, a man poured a bucket of white paint over a student of Lida Middle School in Huangpu District, saying: "Your parents owe us money," according to witnesses. Another man then shouted: "You targeted the wrong person!" The two men fled. But about 5:45pm the same day, a man threw paint over another pupil at the school.
