Parents thank mystery driver after toddler plunges 14 floors
JAPANESE parents of a toddler who is in a coma after jumping from their 14th-floor balcony have thanked a mystery driver who drove them to Shanghai Children's Hospital.
The four-year-old is in a stable condition with extensive broken bones although his life is still in danger, doctors told today's Xinmin Evening News.
He plunged last night from their balcony on Loushanguan Road, Changning District, after the father scolded him, a guard told reporters.
The parents rushed downstairs and found their son in the gardens. Security guards couldn't find a taxi so asked a driver parked opposite to help, a guard surnamed Chen said.
The driver agreed to help but didn't leave his name. Guards said the Zhejiang Province license plate began with E665.
