Pavilion Souvenirs Stamped In Gold

A set of gold stamps featuring the Expo's permanent pavilions and the Expo Boulevard was issued yesterday.
The souvenir, made of 50 grams of gold, currently costs 19,980 yuan (US$2,926.53).
The set is available at Expo franchised products outlets at the Expo site, and the Expo souvenir store on Nanjing Road E., located on the first floor of the Shanghai Tourist Product Shopping Mall.
Besides the five gold stamps, depicting the China Pavilion, the Expo Center, the Expo Culture Center, the Theme Pavilion and the Expo Boulevard, the set also includes an album with stamps featuring Expo emblems, Expo mascot and eye-catching national pavilions.
A silver set has also been released. Only 30,000 sets of silver stamps will be available costing 880 yuan each.
