POLICE in Shanghai and neighboring Zhejiang Province have busted two gangs and caught 45 suspects who allegedly ran pornographic mobile phone applications in two separate cases.
Shanghai police caught seven suspects who ran more than 40 pornographic WAP (wireless application protocol) sites, designed to be accessed over smartphones, China.com.cn reported yesterday. Police in Jinhua City of Zhejiang closed more than 100 pornographic WAP sites and caught 38 suspects.
