Picasso in frame
WORKS of Pablo Picasso, on loan from Musee National Picasso Paris, will be shown at the China Pavilion in the former Expo Park from October 10 to January 2012. "2011 Picasso in China" is part of the 13th China Shanghai International Arts Festival.
It has grouped 48 canvases, seven prints and seven sculptures by the Spanish artist who died in 1973. In addition, some 50 photos depicting the life of Picasso will also be displayed at the exhibition, offering Chinese visitors a rare glimpse into the life of the great master in abstract art.
