Police looks for boy, 11, who is missing for a week

POLICE are looking for an 11-year-old boy who went missing after leaving home last Monday.

The boy, whose name is Qin Wenhao, is about 1.62 meters tall, and was wearing a black vest and blue shorts when he left Shanghai Chuncheng, a residential complex in Minhang District, at about 3:30pm, his father said.

Qin was last seen at the Lotus International shopping center at 4:55pm, police said.

Qin speaks Chinese and Japanese. He was born in Japan and returned to his native Shanghai when he was six years old, his father said.

He is a student of Minhang Experimental Elementary school and also trains as an athlete at a sports school. He had a training session that afternoon. His father said he scolded him that day because “he was slow.”
