Police probe death of woman reported by boyfriend

A woman was found dead on Tuesday in her rented home in Hangtou Town, Pudong District, today's Oriental Morning Post reported.
Police believed it was a murder that happened at about 7:25pm on Tuesday, the paper said.
Neighbors said the woman in her 40s had lived there for some time. It was her boyfriend who called the police after he found the woman was bleeding with a fatal wound.
Pudong police said the woman died before they arrived at the scene. They gave no more details as an investigation is ongoing.
