SHANGHAI police are encouraging city residents to vote online for their favorite entries in a competition to design posters warning against telecoms scams. Since the public awareness campaign started in August, more than 1,200 entries have been received for the poster competition, police said. Some of the artwork features popular icons, such as basketball star Yao Ming and competitors in the China's Got Talent.
