Press group inks park contracts

THE Wenhui-Xinmin United Press Group, to which Shanghai Daily belongs, signed cooperation contracts with the Minhang District government to build a cultural innovation park in west Minhang.
The cooperation between the two parties will mainly focus on media public service, new media expansion, multi-language service and media products display over the next five years. The Wenhui-Xinmin group, set up in 1998, has 18 newspapers and its asset value reached 6.562 billion yuan (US$1.012 billion) last year.
